Questions . . .

So many questions in life,...about life and so few answers.Fewer are the ones I understand. What is life? Who am I? Why am I here? What is the purpose of life? Does life mean being able to breathe? Or that I get along with people and live in a community and feel lke I belong? That again makes me ask.. "Why should I belong?? Why should I get along??"

Why are people considered a social outcast just because they do things differently? Why is being different not accepted as gracefully as everything else in nautre?

What is freedom? What is slavery?
If slavery means being forced to do something we do not like, aren't we all slaves of the "community"?? Try thinking something out of the box and voicing it out.. if it isn't something conventional,I guarantee you that it will be snubbed. Freedom of thought, freedom of speech is what our constitution says to be the right of every Indian. Why then are we snubbed?

We are taught as kids that we must speak the truth at all costs. Why then are we expected to sugar coat what we think? Or asked to twist the truth to our advantage? It is said that "The truth shall set you free". But once you speak the truth, you make enemies because the truth is usually bitter. Making enemies in authoritative posts is just calling for trouble. Why would anyone want to get into trouble??

WHY?? WHY?? WHY??
Why so many questions??

I would generally not agree with ignorance being bliss because ignorance is like being blind, but as I see that I am unable to find answers to my questions, I choose to be ignorant.

Well, a nice poem by Nitesh there. What he tells is true.

Here's my take though. I think you have misunderstood the complete meaning of Freedom of Speech. I suggest you take a look at the section mentioned Restrictions on Free Speech at Wikipedia. Here's the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_of_speech

If you are talking about the 'restrictions' where you are scared to hurt others because you are so frank, then that is a necessity in the society. I want to give an excerpt from a T.V series.

"If you are asked, if it is ok for hardened criminals to be killed and you had the power to do so, people would generally would say, it's wrong, but it's all a facade. They are secretly wishing that something like that happens. People are scared to tell out the truth though it might be good to them"

You know what would happen if they started telling directly, it was ok, wouldn't the families of the criminals start becoming rebellious? Then, there will be more crimes, more hate. In general, it would breed contempt. So, sometimes, it is best to be quiet, so that ultimately don't start breeding contempt against each other and are waiting for a chance to take revenge, in every way possible.

Life looks mysterious when u start it with a WHY .... and even look's puzzled when u think of WHY ..... so just chill the life with a beautiful smile rather than with puzzled "why"

ree , tension madkobedi .... when you have got knots all around , untangle them one at a time.....

its great that you have so many questions !!!

if doing things differently satisifies your soul , just do it. btw , if your 'different' way is the best one around you know what you are here for.
